What is a Claude Skill?

A Skill is a folder of instructions that Claude loads on its own when a task needs it. Each SummonSkills package is one Skill: a router file reads what you ask and opens the right playbook, one file per job. You upload it once; after that you simply ask.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

No. Skills work on the free Claude plan with code execution turned on, as well as on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once and keep the package.

I’m not technical. Can I set it up?

Yes. Setup is uploading one ZIP file and answering a few questions. Each package includes step-by-step setup instructions.

Does it replace my professional judgment?

No. Every package writes drafts for you to review, flags anything it can’t verify and ends with a sign-off checklist. You stay responsible for what you send.
